An internal bus of a computer is basically a collection of cables that connects each part of the computer to each other to overall make the computer system function.

All busses in computer systems consist of two parts:

An address bus is a part of the bus that addresses where data is sent throughout the computer, essentially this bus controls which data should go to which component through which cable, without an address bus the computer would not have all parts communicating correctly to allow the computer to run.

However the address bus does not send the data, the address bus just addresses where the data should go down what given route of the cabelling, the 'Data Bus' is what actually sends the data through the correct given cabelling.
